A view from Num-Ti-Jar Lodge in July!
I drove through Banff National Park in a snow storm to reach the 1920’s Num-Ti-Jah Lodge.
There was an old log fire blazing that evening to keep my family warm.
The next morning I was met by this most amazing sight . . .
The photograph was taken at 6:39am just as the sunlight caught the top of Crowfoot Mountain.
I had been warned by the lodge manager that 5 Grizzly bear families were living around this end of the lake at the time!
