Northumberland in June

Despite terrible weather the week before our visit and just after we got back, we were very lucky avoiding the rain.
You needed to get up around 3:30am to catch the soft light - which I did once. My collision with Bella in the sand dunes of Embleton Bay restricted my activities to evening light just after evening meals. You see waking up early wasn’t too much of a problem, but my right leg and chest proved extremely painful for the following 2-3 weeks.
Not my best images, but maybe enough to give you a flavour of our trip.
