Subject: ‘The Blue Boat’ (B&W) April 2024

Noel Bennett,
Monday. Early in the morning. I drink a cup of tea and eat bread with seeds. I see your works. Me in that boat (in black and white) that rests on the sand. In my imagination, a sea tale. In my smile, the strength to face this day.
Thank you very much for your Art.

My hands.

Subject: ‘ELEMENTS’ Exhibition April 2022

Hi Noel,
I visited the Gallery today to sample your exhibition. Took my wife too. We were both really impressed. Not just lovely images but so nicely presented. I particularly liked seeing the thinking and design stages to show the processes. Makes people aware that it isn’t just a camera click or quick creation People often overlook or not understand just how many hours and the hard work that goes in to the creation. Very informative…. I will try and incorporate ‘process’ into my show too, in August. So, verdict…… Brilliant 🤩 Well done.

Regards,
Dave

Subject: 3rd Talk for Nantwich Camera Club.
Title ‘My Coastal Collection’

Just a note to say thank you for last night's talk Noel. Your images clearly show the benefit of losing sleep to capture the golden hour and help me to realise how seriously I failed when I visited many of the places, which you illustrated so capably. I'm sure it was an object lesson for many of our members and could only be improved upon by seeing the images on a big screen. After twenty odd years of doing the programme job, I'm stepping down at the end of this season, but I'm sure that whoever succeeds me will come knocking on your door sometime in the future for more of the same and if not I will remind them.
Again many thanks and best wishes,
Trevor

Subject: Your book - Staffordshire in Photographs

Bought you book yesterday from Denstone Hall Farm Shop. - most impressed!
My wife hales from Cheadle, Staffs - I from a little further north.

I know the area well that you have pictured and have, since being able to use up some of my father's war time film during thr late 40s and 50s. going on to take a great interest in photography during my apprenticeship with English Electric in Stafford - continuing to work there for many years until the major change of ownership prompted me to leave both the Company and the area. Up until then, my new wife (married 1963) lived just up Pirehill road on Marlborough Road quite near to your location. Moving away to work for the UK branch of an Italian Company after they separated from Fairchild in the USA, I had to re-locate nearer to their branch office and labs in Aylesbury. Brackley is as far as I wanted to move which is where we still live after many years.

Photography has always remained a significant interest - although I no longer use my Nikon F but have moved to Panasonic G series and TZ cameras.

In order to achieve the results that are reproduced in your book must have taken aa considerable amount of time and planning. I much admire the results!!

With best regards,

Charles

A message from my local framer

. . . . . . . no problem and many thanks Noel.

Just out of interest I'm not sure if you know, but we've dropped the photography aspect of our business, probably a year ago. Not that we could ever compete with your work, but we decided to focus on the production of framing and made significant invest in that area. We'll also be pushing our printing, so don't worry about any competition when it comes to photography.
Also have to say well done! We went for a super meal at the Moat House in Acton Trussell on Saturday and was really pleased to see your work on the walls. Top job.

Best Regards
Adam

4 Generation Studio Portrait Sitting

I booked a 4 Generation photo session as a Christmas Present with Noel back in January.
Noel was very Professional in explaining the photo package booked, what it included, our options and also the process that followed. The end results (digital images) were ours to keep, once we had ordered our framed 4th Generation photo and additional prints for family members.
On the day of the sitting  we were made to feel welcome and the photo session went very smoothly, with different settings and groups. Noel was very good when it came to keeping the 1 year old happy and occupied, using her Peter Rabbit has his Assistant!!
I would totally recommend Noel Bennett Photography

One2one Workshop for 2

Hi Noel

Thanks again for the workshop. Hopefully my best chance of developing those skills will be when we go to Lanzarote next week. It was really helpful.  I hope the following will serve as a suitable testimonial:

Jane and I wanted to move on from using the "automatic" settings on our cameras all of the time. Noel established the perfect friendly environment in his studio for us to learn a little more. He had done research on our cameras before the session, quickly grasped our current level of knowledge and understood clearly what we wanted to achieve. In the two hour workshop Noel came up with a range of ideas for us to try in order to improve the quality of the pictures we now hope to produce. All based on some easy to understand principles. We also enjoyed listening to how he produced some of his wonderful photos. Highly recommended!

Best wishes

Geoff

DPI & Print Presentation ‘Before & After’
Editorial Press Release 26 November 2019

Recently local photographer Noel Bennett ARPS came to talk to us about a range of his own work from landscapes to creative images.  It was refreshing to see before and after images of his work, both projected and in print (which we were able to look at closely).  We were taken on a journey often from a fairly bland image which Noel was able to make magical using LightRoom and PhotoShop editing programs.  Lessons were presented in cropping and cleaning up bright spots and clutter to show how we all can improve our images. Listening to what others have to say can also help improve our images, and Noel has improved many images by listening to what people in his own photographic club have to say.  Overall a great night and I am certainly inspired to have a go at some landscape images after this talk.  A big thank you goes to Noel for making a great night!

Dear Noel, - Photographic print - 'Autumn Colours'
We were in Huddersfield today and wandered from the Blue Room into your niece’s shop. Once there we were captivated by your photography – especially ‘Autumn Colours’ - which we first bought as a card then the print so we could have it framed. It is just the picture we have been looking for.
We have also looked at your website and the equally fabulous pictures there.
So really, just wanted to say thanks very much for making our day.

Hi Noel - ‘Radiant Light’
Beautifully presented, a piece of art that will give many years of pleasure. It was also a joy when I visited, by appointment, after seeing the picture on your website. There was no pressure, and no rush in choosing the frame. There are others that have caught my eye, the problem is whittling down to a shortlist!

Hi Noel - ‘Final Destination’
Twelve months after seeing your print in a gallery my husband is now proud owner of your fabulous print 'Final Destination'.
It has inspired his own mini restoration project and now he spends all his spare time in the garage!
You couldn't have been more helpful in arranging the surprise gift and we now have a shortlist of other coveted pieces and are busy spreading the word.

Hi Noel - 'Dawn Over Oulton Heath'.
Just wanted to say Thank you, the picture looks amazing and exactly what we wanted.
A perfect memory of Oulton for Paul especially as one of the trees is now gone.
Thanks again
Nicola

Delivery
Just to let you know the print arrived yesterday and it’s being framed. It’s as nice as we remembered, the internet/computer screen doesn’t do your pictures justice.
Thanks,
Simon

Hello Noel,  'Geese at Grove Farm' - Limited Edition Print Order
We saw your print at Keele University a few months ago on an open day where there were numerous prints from a photographic competition. For me your print stood out and without knowing where it was taken for me it spoke of early mornings in North Norfolk. We go there each year for a short camping trip at Breck Farm near Holt. We loved the oak frame in which it was hung, fits in with our furniture perfectly... I nearly bought it there and then, but it was just a bit too much for us to cough up on the day. When we got home I looked you up on the internet, nice web-site :)
I nearly called to see if you had run out but you have only sold 6, I can't believe it! We will enjoy your print for many years to come, just looking at it and your there, gives me a nice warm feeling.
Thanks,
Simon

Hello Noel
Very many thanks for donating the voucher which we placed in our raffle last Sunday which raised the amazing sum of £800.00, I do not have the final figure for the whole event but I think it will be just under £3000.00 which is fantastic. We placed your cards on all the tables and none were left so I do hope that you will get some future business from the venue.
Many thanks again for your support it is very much appreciated
Kind regards

Gina Marshall
Hello Noel, How are you?
I haven't been to camera club since last year as I'm not taking many photos at the moment, and don't want to feel that I should be.
Brian put up a post on facebook about your exhibition so I went to look at it today. It really is fantastic and inspiring. The quality is superb. I've tried a few on the same lines myself but they didn't go down too well with the judges. Probably not experienced enough to know what looks good yet!
Well done,
Gina Marshall

Hi - ‘New Day’
We stayed at the Dog and Doublet in Sandon after our wedding on Friday and in the four poster room there was one of your pictures titled "New Day" I really like it and would like to know where I can buy one from. We had booked four rooms and after seeing this one we started wandering around to look at all your pictures and they are all lovely.

Inspirational Presentation!

Hi Noel
On behalf of Walton PS and friends I would like to thank you once again for last night?s informative, entertaining and inspirational presentation. Your prints are truly stunning and it was great to have the opportunity to view them at close quarters. You struck just the right balance between artistic and technical detail and we are most appreciative to you for sharing your techniques and answering our queries.
I hope we will be able to welcome you back in the future. In the meantime I look forward to regular visits to the gallery (and cake) and wish you and Christina continued success.
Best wishes

Hi Noel,
We've met a couple of times at Stafford Camera Club. Just thought I'd drop you a line to say how much I'm enjoying viewing your website (trying to make a guess as to where you've taken a lot of the photos!).
I'll probably see you this Tuesday, if not the next.
Cheers,

I met you on the canal bridge while dog walkinbg on wed eve. Looked up your web site on returning home. Wow!! You like your misty, frosty mornings. I especially liked psycho on the cut and the one of the roaches. Luck does come into it though, don't you think, just being at the right place at the right time especially where wildlife is concerned.
