Nature photography requires a different set of skills and techniques, compared to the rest of Noel’s portfolio.
I good background knowledge of the subject it recommended, but observation and anticipation also contribute to a great image. You do also need that element of luck. Planning the approach and the best vantage point are important.
Noel always avoid getting too close, remaining sympathetic to my subject.
Try to avoid distractions by 'gardening' as they call it, before pressing the shutter.
You also need copious amounts of patience, a big kit bag and some quite expensive lenses!
