Historic photographs of our past are priceless and irreplaceable.
So, quite rightly, I’m constantly asked to revitalise worn and tattered prints by scanning at high resolutions and then processing in photoshop to repair all the creases, stains, marks and in some cases faded or even missing areas.
When the retouched digital file is reprinted it is done sympathetically retaining some sepia an colour characteristics of the original.
The digital files are always supplied to the client for their safe keeping at the end of the work.
